I love running fanlistings. I love going into Photoshop and making a layout, I love tweaking colors to fit a new theme, it's all very fun.

The not-so-fun part comes with people not bothering to link back. So many times I will go check someone's site for a link back, and there is nothing.

If you are a Neocities user (and readers will likely know I have problems with that platform) it is literally SO EASY to link back in about 5 minutes. Why do I go to check a link hours later and there's not even a link? I feel bad about removing the links but at the same time. I kind of warned them that their link would get removed if there was no link back.

I literally have it in the rules that you must link back before I go and do my approvals. Do people just not read simple rules?

Fanlistings are not website link directories. I want my site to be linked back to so other people can find it. I link you, you link me. Reciprocal exchange, you know? It just makes me so annoyed when people don't bother to do it. I'm not linking your site unless you link me. It's only fair.
